1. Accessibility Statement
Somatic Sex Education is committed to making this website accessible to all people, regardless of ability or technology. We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the standard recommended by the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative.
What we have done
- All pages pass automated WCAG 2.1 AA testing (pa11y with axe runner, 0 errors across all 11 pages)
- All text meets minimum color contrast ratios (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text)
- All images have descriptive alt text
- Full keyboard navigation is supported throughout
- Skip-to-main-content link on every page
- Logical heading hierarchy (h1 → h2 → h3) on every page
- All form fields have visible labels and ARIA attributes
- Accordion and interactive components are keyboard-accessible
- Mobile-responsive layout works at all viewport sizes
Known limitations
- MailerLite embedded forms: newsletter signup forms are rendered by MailerLite's third-party script. Accessibility of their form markup is outside our direct control, though we apply contrast fixes via JavaScript where possible.
- Google reCAPTCHA: embedded in the MailerLite form. reCAPTCHA accessibility is Google's responsibility.
- Buy Me A Coffee button: external image-based button. We provide descriptive alt text.

We use this data to send educational updates about somatic sex education. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter email. See MailerLite's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle this data.

- Microsoft Clarity: records session replays and generates heatmaps of user interactions to help us understand usability. Microsoft processes this data. See Microsoft's Privacy Statement.
